Welcome to our Coaching Team Jamie McNee 🔵⚪
Peterhead FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie McNee as a first-team coach to support the current coaching structure at the club.
McNee arrives at the club with over nine years of coaching experience as a former coach at Brechin City and Kelty Hearts, the latter as recently as last season. McNee is also a football coach and consultant at Ultimate Soccer Coaching based in Glasgow where he's worked with some of the best players in the country including Hull City midfielder Greg Docherty, Livingston defender Ayo Obileye and former Scotland women's midfielder Leanne Crichton.
Peterhead FC co-managers Ryan Strachan and Jordon Brown were pleased to add to their backroom team saying, "Jamie came recommended from guys we know, he's a young, ambitious guy and has experience. Jamie can do sports science and football areas of coaching, so we're looking forward to working with him. Jamie isn't coming to be a number, he's coming to make an impact and bring value to the group, he ticks a lot of boxes for us as he can help out with warm-ups and conditioning stuff.
We've a strong network at the club, we have Barry, Donal, office, kit and media staff so it was key we got a good fit with the coach and we believe we have."
This appointment completes the coaching set-up at Balmoor with Barry Thompson continuing as goalkeeping coach and Donal O'Gallagher as physiotherapist.
Welcome to Peterhead Jamie and we look forward to working with you.

A very happy 50th birthday to Shire director Ian Fleming.
Ian does a remarkable job in making sure we have a club to support, and for that we are all thankful!
Have a great day, Ian!
Return to Cowdenbeath today a club where I started and had great times my first time there and today I got a hat trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️ and the refused to give me the match ball 😂 idiot kitman running out shouting no he’s no having it 😂😂😂 that’s a pity, be better not bitter they say 😎
We were deeply saddened to receive the news that John Cooper had passed away. As well as being a passionate Airdrie supporter, John was a good friend to many at the club and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with John's family and friends at this sad time.
👏 | And congratulations to Niyah Joseph who is the @OfficialSLFL Player of the Week.
Just the 4️⃣ goals for our 21 year-old striker, as he’s assisted twice each by 19 year-old Shaun Brown and 17 year-old Scott Honeyman.
The future is bright 🌟
