@nspowerinc And yet our power is now out before the storm even starts. Workers are tremendous. Grid is a complete wreck. Remind me again why the CEO receives record bonuses when our power drops with winds lower than 60 kph? Abysmal.
@JeanMacRae99@haligonia Yup. Lost power in Cole Harbour about 20 minutes ago. They need to remind me again about the $$$ spent on infrastructure updates. Oh no I mean $$$ bonuses for CEO!
@alangdon17 Yup. Up at 2:30. Breakfast at 5. Power out at 7:20. In Cole Harbour. At this rate the whole province will be powerless before long. Useless power grid.
@HalifaxEditor This is so repugnant. It’s not even windy yet. I’m so pissed off with the UARB who fell for this crap. Cut the CEO’s bonus and shareholder dividends first. Remind me again why we’re paying for these folks to get rich?
Over 23,000+ without power on the coldest day in NS this winter. Remind me again why we should pay more the @NSP for such crap service? It’s not even that windy yet. Reduce your CEO’s bonus and pay, and your dividends and then maybe. It’s repugnant.
@dannymcgee61 @SalSawler Where wind storms and hurricanes are more and more the norm, it is not foolish to expect our power utility to do a better job of burying lines and figuring out ways to ameliorate power failures. Their CEO makes $8 mil to run a company that fails a LOT.
@DeveauJason@cara_downey@nspowerinc Like the power going out BEFORE the storm hit? And 1,000 workers to repair 400,000+ outages? I don’t particularly call that being well prepared.
