They applied for a marriage license on July 24 after getting engaged in December 2025, when Greene posted “Happily Ever After.”

Marriage itself is a good thing and should be supported. That does not change the record.

Greene entered Congress with a reported net worth around $700,000. By the time she resigned in January 2026 after a bitter public break with President Trump, estimates put her wealth near $25 million. She then left office.

She also publicly opposed full mass deportations, arguing for a “smarter plan” that did not involve “rounding up every single person.”

MTG being out of Congress is good for the future of the USA. That said, how she got so rich while being in Congress deserves scrutiny.
