Gov. Landry is calling on #LSU to punish an LSU Law professor for expressing his political opinion in the classroom. His comments are quoted in the letter below #lalege#lagov
I don't fault anyone for suspecting the guy, who was criminally indicted for trying to steal the 2020 election, might have stolen the 2024 election.
You'd be naive not to suspect foul play.
He is the architect of distrust in our institutions, the sower of doubt in our election processes, the catalyst of our national discord.
Rather than spend endless hours pontificating on why he won, the media should spend their time verifying the results.
Maybe then they'll get people to actually tune in.
TWEEPS: In the days since the election, my account has lost 23,000 followers -- mostly bots, I assume. But I wanted to make sure Elmo isn't unfollowing us from each other once again.
Do me a favor: RT this and check to make sure we're still following each other, as we'll get through this together.
Please and thank you! 🙏💪
“In short, the president-elect is now his own judge and jury, insulated from the criminal consequences he might have faced without the legal force field of the Oval Office.
Even the civil cases against him will now face new obstacles.” https://t.co/ROqpfrKjgJ
I destroyed NATO and democracy and the Constitution and the environment and women's rights and equal rights and healthcare and education and the rule of law, but my eggs are going to be 0.75 cents cheaper now.

Black people are relatively well prepared for what’s about to happen because it’s happened to us before. America has done this to us before. It’s just about to widen the aperture to a bunch of people who ain’t used to it.
The fact is that we have very secure elections. Any areas where there were known problems should be double checked, but there is no reason to suspect fraud at this time. Separately, Russia should be punished for their election disruption efforts.
White supremacy cannot be defeated unless we’re all in it together (obviously, a majority of white people are not gonna help).
But… this election *really shows* that a lot of other “people of color” do not want to defeat white supremacy, they want to join it.
One thing I do worry about, is that the “solidarity” between “people of color” has been significantly damaged.
Watching Latinos chase model minority status has never sat *well* with black people, but this is a wound the Black community won’t soon forget.
Bezos saw it coming & did what he needed to do. Who knows what comes next but this now is oligarchy. It’s the cojoining of state power & business interests. It’s 90s Russia. It’s the chaos before the crackdown. It’s Musk & Thiel & every cryptobro chancer in Silicon Valley
