After having discontinued her studies years ago, Lakshmi Lahari from Palakollu, West Godavari, was encouraged by her son to restart her education. As a homemaker, she joined open schooling - and this year, both mother and son appeared for their 10th exams together.

They’ve now both passed in first class! Lakshmi Lahari scored 360 marks and her son Vijay secured an impressive 562.
