Princeton Police Arrest Four Telugus in Major Human Trafficking Operation; More Arrests Anticipated

Princeton Police Department has apprehended four individuals from Telugu states in connection with a large-scale human trafficking scheme. The arrests follow the discovery of over a dozen young women living in squalid conditions, forced to sleep on the floor in a home devoid of furniture but filled with computer electronics and blankets.

The arrests were made after authorities uncovered the dire situation at a residence on Ginsburg Lane. The police investigation began when a pest control company, called to the home for a potential bed bug issue, alerted authorities to the presence of multiple young women sleeping on floors surrounded by suitcases.

Police revealed that the trafficking operation likely involves over 100 individuals, with more than half identified as victims.
The suspects, Chandan Dasireddy (24), Dwaraka Gunda (31), Santhosh Katkoori (31), and Anil Male (37), have been charged with trafficking of persons, a second-degree felony.
According to the police, these individuals allegedly forced the victims to work for various shell companies owned by Katkoori and his wife, Dwaraka Gunda.

Further investigations revealed that the victims, including both women and men, were employed as programmers. Authorities seized numerous laptops, phones, printers, and fraudulent documents from the Ginsburg Lane residence and other locations in Princeton, Melissa, and McKinney, further implicating the suspects in the trafficking network.

Dwaraka Gunda was arrested in March when it got busted and Chandan was arrested in June.
