Binance Card: What Happens When You Pay With Crypto?
I used to think the interesting part of a crypto card was simply being able to tap and pay.
But the part I found more useful to understand is what actually happens behind that payment.
With the Binance Card Global Program, eligible users can use selected cryptocurrencies as collateral for purchases at participating online and offline merchants. The card follows the payment priority you set in the Card Dashboard, so the order of your selected assets matters when a payment is made.
The important detail is that the merchant does not simply receive your cryptocurrency as-is. Binance explains that the selected crypto is automatically converted for settlement when you make a payment. In other words, the card connects a crypto balance on the Binance side with a more familiar card-payment experience on the merchant side.
There is also a practical funding layer behind it. The Global Program normally draws from eligible assets in your Spot and/or Funding Account according to the payment settings you choose. Binance also documents additional funding options for eligible users and regions, so the exact setup can depend on the product available in your jurisdiction.

I think this distinction is important because “spending crypto” can sound simpler than the process really is.
You still need to understand which assets are selected, what the payment priority is, where the funds are being sourced from, and how conversion happens during the transaction.
There is also a useful everyday feature: eligible users can add the Binance Card to Google Pay for tap-to-pay where available.
And availability matters. Binance says the Global Program is only available in selected jurisdictions, with features and functionality varying by location and eligibility.
My takeaway: a crypto card is not just a card with crypto attached to it. Understanding the payment flow is what makes the product easier to understand.
Digital assets still involve risk, so always check the current terms, supported assets, and regional availability before using a feature.
Educational only. Not financial advice. Always do your own research and use official sources.

Travelling with crypto and wondering where Binance Card can actually come in handy? 💳✈️
The concept is pretty straightforward.
If Binance Card is supported in your region, you can use it at eligible merchants while you’re on the move.
Hotels 🏨
Pay for eligible hotel stays and related services wherever the card is accepted.
Restaurants & Cafes ☕
Cover meals, coffee and other everyday expenses during your trip.
Shopping 🛍️
Pay at supported merchants without having to manually convert your crypto for every purchase.
Transport 🚕
Depending on the location and merchant, the card can also be used for certain travel and transport payments.
Online Travel Bookings 🌐
Use it for eligible online bookings and travel-related services that accept the card.
International Payments 🌍
When paying in another currency, conversion may apply. Fees and exchange rates can vary depending on the card program and market.
The travel flow is pretty simple:
Fund your account → Choose payment priority → Use Binance Card → Payment gets processed
Before your trip, always check your Binance Card settings for supported assets, fees, limits and regional availability.
Crypto can make travel payments simpler, but knowing the terms matters.
Not Financial advice.
