I DON'T HOLD THIS AGAINST THEM we were all stupid kids and i was especially pathetic. a pushover. a sopping wet dog. it's a wonder i wasn't actively bullied. it's just funny how little social awareness i had to know to stand up for myself
remembering when a friend wanted to trade and i said no. she ran crying across the dingy little korean saturday school we attended and later said if i didn't trade we couldn't be friends. i gave in. she's a west coast asian now and i probably could've seen that coming
had a similar friend who promised to jump in the pool together holding hands and only i jumped, so i fucked up the inside of my arm against the concrete. korean girls supporting each other truly
what is your most benign unpopular opinion? i don’t mean like “the earth is flat” type of unpopular opinion, i mean like “I think golden retrievers are annoying” unpopular opinion
i feel like we're back in early 2010s with the way some people treat race in design/writing as some explicit politically motivated move. i just want to shake some people by the shoulders and say it's just a color!! it's just human!! it's okay if it's not YOU!!!!
in just terms of design, skin color variety should be just as important as hair style, height, build, age, or any prominent visual element. limiting yourself in even one is doing yourself a disservice as an artist
i know the original discussion comes from a medieval fantasy game but in a general media sense, the reason why people make multiple characters is to compare and contrast them with each other. making a character a flat 2D trope is actually more 'unrealistic' than making them brown
Dude. Did you seriously just abandon me at the outskirts of the grazing area? You KNOW that I'm at increased risk of predation as one of the weaker + sicklier members of the herd.
