It is always good to read the full context. Read the Hadith before and after this one that was wrongly quoted and explained with blasphemy (5254 and 5256 Sahih Bukhari- Kitabut- talaq)

The translation is based on ijtihad (efforts) of Ulama. As expected, anything humanly is prone to err. So, yes it isn’t considered as a mushaf as Quran is known to be the word of Allah and is completely preserved just the way it was revealed “in Arabic”.
