Today in Mubi, we engaged stakeholders from Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha. I appreciated their call for me to represent Adamawa North in the Senate and assured them that, when the time comes, I am prepared to provide strong, purposeful and result-driven legislative representation that will advance the interests of our people.
I also made it clear that we will mobilize effectively to deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while sustaining the pace of development, peace and prosperity across Adamawa.
**If you are kidnapped in Nigeria, you are completely on your own. No security agency will save you.
"My nephew was kidnapped while I was SA to Vice President Shettima. I knocked on every door, entered every office, and gave them the exact coordinates of the location. They promised to help but couldn't. We spent ₦175 Million, including ransom, before he was released after 36 days in captivity. The security agencies couldn't help." - Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, brother to Datti Baba-Ahmed
Three days before the death of the Prophet ﷺ, his pain began to intensify 💔. At that time, he was in the house of Umm al-Mu’minin Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). He said, “Gather my wives for me.” When they had assembled, the Prophet ﷺ asked, “Do you permit me to be cared for during my illness in the house of Aisha?” They replied, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah, we grant you permission.”
When he tried to stand, he was unable to support himself. Ali ibn Abi Talib and al-Fadl ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) came forward and carried the Prophet ﷺ, supporting him as they moved him from the house of Maymunah to the house of Aisha. This was the first time the Companions saw him in such a weakened state.
The people began asking anxiously, “What has happened to the Messenger of Allah? What has happened to the Prophet of Allah?” They gathered in the mosque until it was filled to capacity. The pain and fever of the Prophet ﷺ increased severely.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
“I have never seen anyone suffer from fever as severely as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I would take his blessed hand and wipe his face with it, for his hand was purer and more noble than mine.”
She then heard him say:
“There is no god but Allah. Indeed, death has its agonies.”
The concern and sorrow of the people in the mosque deepened. The Prophet ﷺ asked, “What is happening?” They replied, “O Messenger of Allah, the people are fearful for you.” He said, “Carry me to them.”
Water was poured over him seven times until he regained some strength. Then he was carried to the mosque and ascended the pulpit. This was his final sermon — his last public address.
He said:
“O people, it seems that you are afraid for me.”
They replied, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.”
He said:
“O people, my meeting with you will not be in this world. Our meeting will be at the Hawd (the Basin). By Allah, it is as if I can see it from where I stand now.”
Then he said:
“By Allah, I do not fear poverty for you. Rather, I fear that the world will be opened up to you, and you will compete for it as those before you competed for it, and it will destroy you as it destroyed them.”
“O people, Allah, Allah concerning the prayer. Allah, Allah concerning the prayer.”
“O people, fear Allah regarding women. Fear Allah regarding women. Treat women well.”
“O people, if a servant is given the choice between this world and what is with Allah, let him choose what is with Allah.”
At this point, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) burst into tears and said:
“May we ransom you with our fathers, our mothers, our children, our wealth, and ourselves, O Messenger of Allah!”
The people looked at Abu Bakr for interrupting the Prophet ﷺ, but the Prophet defended him and said:
“O people, leave Abu Bakr. There is none among you who has done me a favor except that I have repaid him — except Abu Bakr. I have not repaid him, and his reward is with Allah. Close all the doors leading to the mosque except the door of Abu Bakr.”
Then he prayed for the Ummah, saying:
“May Allah protect you. May Allah grant you firmness. May Allah grant you victory.”
He concluded with peace upon his nation and was then carried back to his home.
While he was there, Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr entered holding a siwak. The Prophet ﷺ looked at it but was too weak to ask for it. Aisha understood his glance. She took the siwak, softened it with her mouth, and gently placed it in the mouth of the Prophet ﷺ.
She later said:
“The last thing that entered the mouth of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was my saliva mixed with the siwak. This was from Allah’s favor upon me.”
Then Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) entered. When she saw him, she began to cry, for whenever she used to enter before, he would stand and kiss her forehead. The Prophet ﷺ whispered something to her, and she cried even more. Then he whispered to her again, and she smiled.
Oga Bash, the issue here is not about having an opinion, it is about telling the truth.
When he and many northerners supported Osama back then, and later changed their stance after understanding what is terrorism during Boko Haram insurgency, that was a shift in opinion driven by exposure, growth, and new knowledge. That is understandable.
But what we have here is something different. In a 2006 video, Malam clearly said he had never joined politics and that he was not the kind of Sheikh who meddles in politics. If in 2026 he says he now wants to join politics, that too is understandable.
The problem is that he did not say that. He claimed he has been in politics since 2001. That is not a change of opinion, that is a direct contradiction.
So the question here is, did the Sheikh lie in 2006 or is he lying now in 2026? It has to be one of the two or both but certainly there is a lie!
I was expecting to see Arewa Twitter small accounts and big accounts ask the @PoliceNG@PoliceNG_CRU and, the Kaduna Police command to Produce the hit and run killers of Engr @Abdoulrahiem but they’re all silent as if nothing happened and he’s not one of us here just last week full of Life.
If it was about insulting people we would have seen you here showing how you were trained and how you decided to turn out.
If una like make una no aşk @Princemoye1 about the conduct of his officers that hit our brother, he has muted me but can’t mute us all.

Settling the Qur'an ablaze in itself for no effing reason is an act of intolerance. It's a madness specific only to the non-muslims. Same thing with blasphemy.
How come you never find Muslims generally, and North, the "haven of intolerance" setting Bibles on fire.
