@HIVDocSK I actually recently tried to look into this from a peds perspective… As usual, things are always tougher on the peds side given it only comes in 500mg capsules. But maybe there will be a patient where this will work for. Glad to hear you guys were able to get it on formulary!

Today feels miraculous. And it is. All three of my kids are booked for their COVID vaccinations- that are safe and work! Science is incredible and so is language. The simple act of talking to your child can change pain. #TalkingCanChangePain

Seven years ago today I walked out of the hospital after surviving Ebola.
That day at a news conference—my knees shaking—I begged the world to focus on the still-raging outbreak in West Africa. Instead, when the immediate threat was over, we moved on.

I’m thrilled to see our government #followthescience and help reduce financial barriers to accessing HIV prevention tools!
@JenniferSpicer4 I really like the idea of being specific about how much time the learner should prepare for. Do you ever limit how many different teaching pearls you review in a day? I don’t want to overwhelm learners with too many different topics/points.
@JenniferSpicer4 Thanks! That makes sense. Any tips on how to make time for teaching when some weeks, everyday just seems so busy? Especially when you’ve asked a learner to prepare something and there’s so much clinical work that needs to be done.
@JenniferSpicer4 Is this something you would let the learner know ahead of time so that they can have some time to prepare or something that you feel comfortable asking them on the spot?
This is great! There’s not a lot of options for infants and kids who need liquid formulation or something that dissolves. Some good news on #WorldAIDSDay
Berry-Flavored #HIV Medication Is Ready for Babies. For the 80,000 children who die of #AIDS each year, drugs are often bitter or hard to swallow. The antiretroviral Dolutegravir will soon come in a tasty dissolving tablet. https://t.co/O4SmVhJVYv via @NYThealth#GlobalHealth
@AntibioticDoc Yes, agreed re off ice risk, includes bench, as more likely concerns. Not clear from this report that it was due to on ice interaction and Florida cases were on the rise at this time.
