@_dennis_system I personally still think ATL>RDU. The opening of ATL alone. Oh Kee Pa>Suzy, Roses are Free. First set Fluffhead. Rather weak second set but great encore with you enjoy Van Halen. Never really got the vibes in Raleigh. The drowned in the rain was cool but rest of the show was meh
@_dennis_system Looking back that Riverport show is very underrated. Sure the Gin gets the respect it deserves, but the second set closing run of Tube (jammed out), Kung > Antelope (with a brief vacuum part) is really freaking cool.
@_dennis_system Where did you start? We did STL, skipped Alpine, caught night 1 Deer Creek, ATL, Raleigh, skipped MPP and went to Va Beach. Nothing compared to Va Beach but we lost our minds during Running w/ the Devil in ATL. Raleigh worst show of the run.
@QueenCityJamz 26 years ago but feels like yesterday. I have never been able to describe it to a “muggle” that doesn’t make me look a huge nerd. Never cried like that at a concert until then. It was a special moment to witness for sure. BTW, now days tears at shows happen quite often. Strange
@_dennis_system I bought a copy of 12/30/95 on tape at a head shop in Asheville. Sugarbush was the philler on the tape. We used to rewind the tape constantly to listen to the 2001 part. Phillers were the best in the pre-internet days.
