Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of America.

Naturally, you would prefer to protect Tesla from competition and maintain its dominance in the electric vehicle market. But would you nonetheless consider allowing BYD to compete freely in America?

Millions of Americans could benefit from more affordable electric vehicles, just as consumers in other countries have. Greater competition could bring down prices, accelerate innovation, and make clean transportation accessible to more families.

After all, if competition is good for Tesla when it expands into global markets, why should American consumers be denied the opportunity to choose from the best the world has to offer?
