This is just wrong at so many levels:

- A minister openly asking bureaucrats to not do their jobs properly. The same jobs for which the public servants receive salaries from taxpayers money.
- A minister openly acknowledging to taking a job as serious as setting fuel standards, extremely casually.
- Sets a bad precedent for other departments as well.

I hope @PMOIndia takes note of this.

इथेनॉल का मामला अजीब ही है।
भारत में बहुत इथेनॉल नहीं बनता।
अस्सी पर्सेंट एथेनॉल मंहगे दामों पर अमेरिका वगैरह से आयात होता है।

बाकी बीस परसेंट जो भारत में बनता है उसे बनाने वाली कंपनियों को भारत सरकार करोड़ों अरबों रुपए की सब्सिडी देती है कि थोड़ा सस्ता पड़े पर पैसा तो भारतीय टैक्स पेयर का ही जाता है न?

उसके बाद अगर वैकल्पिक इंधन की बात करें तो पेट्रोल के बजाय सीधे पूर्ण इथेनॉल ही अगर वैकल्पिक ईंधन बन सकता हो और कच्चा तेल आयात की जरूरत बिल्कुल ही न पड़े तो फिर भी ठीक है।
पेट्रोल से महंगा एथेनाल मंगा कर या बना कर उसे पेट्रोल में ही मिक्स करना है तो सादा पेट्रोल क्या बुरा?

फिर मान लो भारत में ही इथेनॉल बनता हो और थोक के भाव मिलता हो तो भी ठीक,
पर इथेनॉल भारत में अभी बहुत कम बनता है, सब्सिडी देकर सस्ता पड़ता है।

इसके अलावा इथेनॉल अगर गाड़ियों के लिए लाभदायक हो तो भी ठीक।
एथेनाल गाड़ियों के लिए लाभदायक भी नहीं।

जब एथेनाल सस्ता नहीं,भारत में सर्वसुलभ नहीं, भारत में बल्क उत्पादन भी नहीं, आम आदमी की गाड़ियों के लिये ठीक भी नहीं, तो फिर इथेनॉल पर इतना जोर क्यों?

इससे ज़्यादा तो सोलर ऊर्जा या किसी वैकल्पिक ईंधन पर जोर देना चाहिए!

या फिर भारत सरकार ईवी बनाने वाली कंपनियों की राह आसान कर रही?
कोई स्वार्थ है?

E20 पेट्रोल इस समय देश भर में बिक रहा है. इस बीच देश के सबसे बड़े ऑटोमोबाइल संगठन SIAM की रिपोर्ट से हडकंप मच गया है. जिसमें दावा किया जा रहा है कि, SIAM ने पहले ही सरकार को आगाह किया था कि, पेट्रोल में 20 फीसदी इथेनॉल ब्लेंडिंग वाले इस फ्यूल से वाहनों के पार्ट्स खराब हो सकते हैं.

Shri Nitin Gadkari ji sir had challenged to bring one, just one vehicle that had issues due to E20 petrol.

Now SIAM writes that "SIAM members are observing a huge increase in the issues in customer vehicle parts & replacement (like Fuel injectiors, Fuel Pump, EGR Valve, exhaust & parts that are in direct contact with fuel or engine emission gases.) Investigation of field failure vehicle parts reveal the failure is due to corrosion or wear caused by high chloride presence which is traced to the fuel (E20) used.

Now what will Nitin Gadkari ji say. Will he apologise to the nation!!

On Behalf of TEAM BHARAT: let me put out our demands before the Union Government!

Sm please judge and see if these demands are reasonable or no!

* Make E10 Petrol available for E10 compliant vehicles

* Reduce the price of E0 petrol to (currently) ₹90/ litre from the current ₹165-170/ litre & Make it available at all pumps.

* Make E20Fuel 20% cheaper from E0: ₹78/ litre! (current rates).

* Put all documents of E20Fuel policy in public domain.

* Get a solution for pre 2023 vehicles that are affected by Ethanol 20 blended petrol.

* No future roll out of further enhancement of Ethanol blended fuel until a 360° infrastructure is ready for consumers.

* Keep shri Nitin Gadkari ji sir away from the Ethanol issue, it is Conflict of Interest and he must be held accountable for the tall claims he has made including giving petrol at ₹15/litre!

Meeting between TEAM BHARAT and Ministy of Petroleum and Natural Gas is still on.

Meeting started at 12.50 pm.

This is currently on at the Ministry at Kartavya Bhavan!!

Our Demands that we are putting forward are:

*E10 Petrol must be available for E10 compliant vehicles.

*Reduce the price of E0 (pure petrol) & ensure it is available on all petrol pumps.

*Give a 20%discount on E20 Fuel.

*Put all documents of E20Fuel policy in public domain.

*Shri Nitin Gadkari ji is in Conflict of Interest with regards to the Ethanol blending policy & this must be addressed
