Props to Tuala Ponifasio. Addition of the 52nd new woman member is clearly political. She is not the statutorily defined winner. She did not receive the highest votes for women candidates. #samoaelection2021 #Samoa

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

Tuala Iosefo Ponifisio should join FAST. His independence is a result of "not" siding with HRPP to side with them now would be hypocritical. He ran many times under HRPP and didn't win, his constituency clearly voted for him in this election as a NOT-an-HRPP candidate.

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

CMS approves emergency waiver to cover HI providers to serve our quarantine passengers. Now to go to HI and work in the COVID environment. Will take 6 weeks to return home. Longest work trip. #ASMedicaid #COVIDfree #Quarantine

US to AS Repatriation 1.0, Jan.29

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

For real.

[Rep. Dean Phillips 🇺🇸 @RepDeanPhillips]

Members of Congress elected on the very same ballots to which they plan to object on Jan 6 should refuse to be sworn-in tomorrow, for if Trump’s defeat isn’t legitimate, how can their victories be legitimate?

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

Stacy Abrams for US Attorney General!!! @JoeBiden #AttorneyGeneral

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

It worked in 2016 by electing him to office and it’s working now to elect him out of office. That’s how the democratic election system works. #CountEveryVote

[Bernie Sanders @BernieSanders]

Undermining the legitimacy of an election—what Trump is doing now, and in fact has done for months—is how demagogues destroy faith in democracy and move us toward authoritarianism.

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

Lemanu & Talauega made history last night with a landslide win in a 4-way race--avoiding a run-off. They have a mandate from the people. I think people truly owned their vote this time. #VoteMatters

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

It was the democratic process that got Trump elected in the first place. It worked then for him! Now he wants to stop the vote counting before the process finishes?! Unbelievable. No wait, believable because that is who he is. AND the fact it is this close is really sad.

[Sandra King Young @sanking684]

Climate change = rising sea levels. Come visit American Samoa and other Pacific islands and see the devastation of rising sea levels. Yes climate change exists and it needs to be addressed seriously. #risingsealevels #climatechange #pacificislandnations

[Joe Biden @JoeBiden]

I believe climate change is an existential threat to humanity.

Donald Trump doesn’t even think it exists.

It’s that simple, folks.

Stanford researchers have found that Trump's rallies this summer were likely responsible for some 30,000 confirmed coronavirus cases — and that these events likely resulted in more than 700 deaths. https://t.co/ng8ttmha1p

Officially one more day. All the best to our candidates for choosing to pursue public office! #ASelections #ASGovernor #ASLtGovernor #LemanuTalauega #IaTapaau #GaoteFaiivae #NuaSatle
