The irony in India is this.

90% of your quality of life depends on how your local municipality performs, how efficiently the local administration works. But majority of focus is on national issues. A man can tell you who the finance minister is, but wont know who's the local councilor or corporator. They will create 1000 memes about people 1000 kms away, but not about the guy 10 kms away sitting in an office on a towel covered seat. We all are guilty.
