when i was like 13 my english teacher gave me a copy of catcher in the rye, asked me to read it, and told me I'd relate to holden a lot. i don't think I've ever been hit with anything as backhanded since. she was awesome otherwise though.
finished 2666, but it feels like everyone completely misunderstands the point of the book. part 4 being gratuitous is the point. parts 2 and 3 ground you in santa teresa in two very particular ways and 4 is the culmination of it all, the rawest exposure to the "inhumanity".
did okay today. surprisingly good result at sf6. need to get a better grasp on neutral and conversions in cf and be more decisive on offense. made stream but I'd like to be fully confident in myself no matter the situation. picture of me in the venue bathroom attached.
@risenram idk if i would say pocket is super hard. definitely above average but they have so many tools that let them do disgusting things with minimal effort or risk.
@ezzyskii obvious engagement bait but it's because other apes don't have the same concept of language humans do. they associate signs with things but don't understand any actual meanings.
