TRUMP MEDIA TO LAUNCH AND AIRDROP NEW TOKEN TO ITS SHAREHOLDERS, WILL ALSO HAVE BENEFITS FOR TRUMP PRODUCTS SUCH AS TRUTH SOCIAL: PRESS RELEASE

[soclose @sanrioliquid]

$LIT:
• FDV: $3.5B
• MCap: $900M
• Ann. Revenue: $107M
• Buybacks: None
$PUMP:
• FDV: $1.87B
• MCap: $1.1B
• Ann. Revenue: $275M
• Buybacks: 100% daily

Let’s look at what the market pays for $1 of revenue
$LIT
FDV / Rev = ~32.6x
MCap / Rev = ~8.4x

$PUMP
FDV / Rev = ~6.8x
MCap / Rev = ~4.0x
On a P/S basis, $PUMP is ~5x cheaper than LIT.
Even if $PUMP’s revenue drops by 50%, it trades at ~13.6x. Still cheaper than $LIT (32.6x).
Actually, $PUMP would need to lose ~80% of its revenue just to reach $LIT’s current valuation multiples.

Hmmmm, I wonder which one is overvalued and which is undervalued? What to short and what to ape? Honestly, no idea.

Based on JOLTS and Jobless Claims data, the US economy is strong. Vacancies are high, claims are low. The economy doesn't need cheap money right now. Markets hate it when the hope for the money printer fades.

Consequently, real yields are rising, putting pressure on risk assets. Sustained growth in this environment is unlikely.

base case: The Fed cuts rates as expected but delivers hawkish rhetoric, triggering a correction.

The Play: On the recent dip, I added to spot + have some longs. Instead of shorting, I hedged via Puts.

Entry: Bought when BTC was ~$93-94k.

Strikes: Targeting $83-85k.

Sizing: 1.5x relative to my alt exposure (beta-weighting, since alts are more volatile than BTC).

3 Scenarios:
📉Base Case (70%): Cut + Hawkish rhetoric -> Correction.
Take profit on Puts, buy spot lower.
📈Bull Case (20%): Cut + Dovish rhetoric -> Rally to $100k+.
My puts expire worthless, but gains on spot/longs cover the premium.
🐻Bear Case (10%): No cut + Aggressive rhetoric -> Deep dump & flat.
Aggressively accumulate positions

AI Meta 2025 = NFT Bubble 2021.

Looking back at the history of NFTs, I’ve come to the conclusion that the NFT bubble was pure speculation on a new format.

What was it? An insane breakthrough, an "early gem" technology that made you wet your pants. Azuki metaverses with anime from Japanese directors, DAOs building "Fortnite and Warcraft killers" raising $300M+. Which still haven't released sht 4 years later and nobody gives a fck about anymore.P2Earn games like StepN or Axie Infinity - people quit their jobs because "WOW," but in reality, it was just a standard Ponzi scheme (hello terminal). Physical NFTs by Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Adidas, D&G... they churned out NFTs because it was supposedly insanely cool, stylish, and convenient. A new word in luxury fashion. Golden skateboards, royalties, digital ownership, uniqueness, web3 art - all that bullshit died. But man, the hype was real. Every project claimed their sh*t would change the world because everyone said if you aren't changing the world, nobody needs you. People saw: "Whoa! That NFT was $100, now it's $400k. That's real tech!" And purely on FOMO + general fever, they started aping into everything.

The exact same thing happened with the AI agent meta on Solana and Base. Any token with a website and an anime agent automatically became a mooner with a minimum $2M mcap. Same with "Gifts" - once they did numbers, everyone suddenly realized gift collections were cool and trendy. But when it all popped, it turned out 98% of these NFT projects, AI agents, and Gifts were exactly the same sht. Where are those amazing metaverses now? Where are those incredible AI agents? Who gives a fck about 90% of Gifts now? Reminds me of the L2 "ETH killer" boom with 12 active users.Projects that didn't claim to be "mind-blowing tech" rotted and died in obscurity.

Why? Because narrative is more important than product. It doesn't matter how it works, it matters how it sounds. The core product isn't the tech, but the promise that it will change the future. This works right until the market stops paying for the dream. Once liquidity tightens - the bubble pops.

And when (not if, but when) the bubble pops, 2 things will remain:
1.Real products with real users.
2.Those who know how to convey value to a specific segment.
Most will die. The survivors will be real products in narrow verticals pushed by marketers.

First time founders obsess over product. Second time founders obsess over distribution.
While a fucking genius from Stanford sweats over a model to make it 0.5% better than the benchmark (because "AI is the future"), some hustler won't build his own neural net. He'll grab a ready-made API, slap a UI on it, make a description generator for Amazon/E-com, and flood it with TikTok traffic.Question: who makes more money? Another question: what is harder, more universal, and less risky—learning to build a powerful neural net OR learning to drive cheap traffic, fix onboarding, and get a user to pay $20 for a sub? While some look at AI as technology, others look at it as raw material for a product. Long term, the second approach or a symbiosis wins.

So, when will the bubble burst?

First, distinguish between the "Hard" and the "Soft." There is no bubble in the Hard. It's in the Soft.

Hard: Nvidia, AMD, ASICs, data centers, power, cooling. Infrastructure, hard physical demand, bottlenecks. They have clients for years ahead. They'll be fine.

Soft: Startups, heaps of GPT wrappers, various agents, etc. This is a massive fcking bubble. Valuations inflated 100x, no revenue, unit economics are fcked. They burn first when investors close the tap.

Nvidia's report showed huge revenue. That revenue comes from chip sales bought by Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc. So Nvidia's revenue = Big Tech's expenses. And they can't earn it back. Microsoft spends $50B on data centers and returns pennies from Copilot subscriptions.

When Big Tech reports that the math isn't mathing—weak reports, cutting costs—VCs will see it, get scared, and stop funding. 99% of AI startups are unprofitable, living on VC money or grants (getting $500k credits for cloud compute). When costs get cut, what goes first? Startup support programs. They’ll cut programs, limits, and terms. And since the "bro" founder's net profit doesn't cover the API and servers... oops, time to close up shop.

Right now, corps are buying subs for sht like Jasper, CopyAI, Midjourney just to try it and be "on trend." When the hype fades, the CFO will ask: "Why the fck are we paying $50k for this shit?" That’s when mass churn begins. Only software actually embedded in business processes will survive. All the "assistants" can go to hell. Basically, as soon as Big Tech stops painting fairytales about "AI = the new oil," the Soft sector is going to get cleansed very harshly.

Then comes the default post-bubble period. But this is very good for the market. Right now, it's the "Noise" stage. Investors pour money into any garbage, ads are expensive (because startups burn investor cash on auctions), and users can't tell gems from scams. When the bubble pops and the tourists die off, only real builders remain. Products that are actually needed will survive, not just landing pages with the letters "AI." This is the classic Gartner Hype Cycle: Peak of Inflated Expectations -> Trough of Disillusionment -> Slope of Enlightenment -> Plateau of Productivity. The AI sector is going to get wrecked, and that’s great because unicorns are built in the Trough. Google emerged after the Dotcom crash, Ethereum during the 2017 bear market. I’m sure this disappointment will birth its own heroes too.

@hubdotxyz @JMilei I believe future political memecoins can create real value if they are focused on longterm project that genuinely benefit society. For example, a memecoin could be tied to initiates such as funding educational programs, supporting environmental projects or improving infrastructure
