@dantesicedlatte@wingedwolfmaid exactly, it’s all that bs they keep internalizing about knightly honor 🤦🏻♂️ sansa left it behind in kl for the most part but lf is a very special case because admitting who he is means she has no chance at survival and she feels she’s so close to home
@wingedwolfmaid she’s primed to be the person who questions and sets judgement on him both bc of how connected his crimes are to her loved ones but also because of her nature and experiences allowing her to see through deception and his detachment to her true identity
@wingedwolfmaid ned starts off distrusting him too but he brings ned to cat and earns his trust, blinding and dooming him similar to cat. sansa starts off not trusting him, never accepts him as a true friend, but separates his use to her and his intentions (lf and petyr) for her needs.
I love how similar are these scenes and how Sansa picks up on things about LF that Catelyn doesn't. Where Catelyn sees warmth, Sansa notices that something feels off about this man whose smile never reaches his eyes.
@alayneofstone him and brienne. the fact ice started out as being misused for gared and lady (sansa) but will end with a woman who will both be fighting for the others and smallfolk while being a tool for true justice for house stark (killing lf) is so beautiful
just remembered how ice can still technically earn its place again as the greatest sword in the series and how it has its own thematic journey across the books. stark exceptionalism is real
@sansajihadist sansa’s narrative significance in jaime’s story is so underrated. people also overlook that jaime is asoiaf’s central knight figure and that he and brienne are the two knights most deeply intertwined with sansa’s and the starks’ narrative
the weapon used to comment on duty, irony, and redemption that weaves through ned, theon, lady, sansa, ilyn, jaime and briennes narratives ending on delivering justice to its ancestral house, killing their principal enemy, while belonging to the greatest knight in westeros.
genuine question, are the same people upset today the same people who enjoy lyanna dies but jon gets adopted by elia & rhaegar aus? or are there factions? because it genuinely seems like you guys only enjoy your misogynistic fantasies so long as the groomed teenager dies
@LeClippers no she’s standing up to her husband and telling him to take care of his own business because jon isn’t her son. being butthurt on jon’s behalf wont make him cats responsibility
