As part of #SADHANASaptah, the focus shifted towards emerging energy pathways and integrated solutions within the renewable energy landscape on 8 April.

Panel Discussion on 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 (����𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲) held at Atal Akshaya Urja Bhawan under SADHANA Saptah 2026. Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary MNRE, emphasized the critical importance of exploration and research, the need for large-scale industrial utilization, and the role of white hydrogen in strengthening energy security. He also stressed the need for greater thrust and a clear, strategic approach towards its exploration and sustainable exploitation, paving the way for a cleaner energy future. Panelists shared research-driven insights and forward-looking perspectives, with active engagement from officers and participation from experts joining virtually, making it a comprehensive and impactful discussion.

This was followed by a lecture on “Assessment of the Potential of Agrivoltaics and its advantages to Farmers” by Dr. Sunil Sansaniwal, NITI Aayog highlighting the convergence of energy and agriculture. The session examined its role in optimising land use, supporting farmers, and enhancing energy access, while also addressing key challenges in adoption, policy support mechanisms, implementation strategies, and recent progress—offering a clearer direction for scaling such solutions.

Collectively, the engagements under #SADHANASaptah fostered a more informed, collaborative, and forward-looking approach within the sector—strengthening understanding, encouraging dialogue, and reinforcing the pathway for advancing renewable energy across diverse domains.
