S. Anselm's Mud Run 2024! 🏃‍♂️

Yesterday, our junior pupils embraced the challenge of this year’s Mud Run. It was wonderful to see the energy, determination, and smiles from everyone. Well done to all our superstar runners!

On Monday, we came together to celebrate Harvest Festival!
A huge thank you to everyone who generously donated food for the Harvest, and to Canon Tony for a beautiful service.
We enjoyed a fantastic performance by the Chapel Choir and brilliant readings from four of our pupils.

A fantastic afternoon spent on the Monsal Trail for our Year 6 #Geography field trip🌲!
As part of our local study of the @peakdistrict , pupils cycled between field sketch points, taking in the wonderful landscapes and exploring various examples of Victorian engineering.

On Friday, S. Anselm's pupils, staff, and parents gathered for the final Camino practice walk before the actual expedition in a few weeks.
The 11-mile circular route started in Baslow, winding through beautiful woodlands and meadows.

To conclude Year 5’s WWII studies, Mrs Baynes invited her father to talk about his father’s involvement in the D-Day landings, and her son, to discuss his visit to Auschwitz.
