It makes you play a character that you hate at first but you learn to love her by understand her pov and being empathic. And u start to unconsciously forgive her. I think that’s the whole beauty of the game.

The story isn’t only about the death of ur relatives, its also about the bonds you create with them and how beautiful they are…

@uccreepshow @SpawnYaardReply And therefore to inner peace. It also shows that acts (mostly violent ones) have consequences and bad ones. By the end of the game u understand that those consequences (like seeing your friends/family get killed) can be avoided by forgiving. U do not have to feed the hate cycle.

It shows that the revenge of Abby led to a potentially infinite hate and violence cycle that Ellie stopped at the end by letting Abby live. The point is to understand that forgiveness is the solution to stop this cycle…

@uccreepshow @SpawnYaardReply It’s the whole point of the game. To understand that revenge doesn’t lead anywhere. Ellie already killed the whole crew that was at Jackson and she finally understood when she was about to drown Abby that it’s useless. It just feeds the hate and violence cycle that never ends imo
