@jenewmansp The ongoing efforts to ban rodenticides in the community are ongoing. A typical "black box" can contain a variety of poisons know to case the deaths of indigenous wildlife and polluting of surface water.

20 years after the Cactus Rescue Project formed to save the Santa Fe Cholla the state-listed endangered species is doing well with plans to continue the mission. Eldorado at Santa Fe has the largest populations of the cholla to be found anywhere.
