David’s brother, Thomas Jackson, is an HSBC legend. Served as Yokohama branch manager until 1876 (also got married here). Aged just 34, he moved to HK to become chief manager of the Bank. One of the outstanding bankers of the 19th century, viewed HSBC as a “family” #HSBCISFIT

At the entrance of the cemetery is the grave of David Jackson who died in 1903 after 26 yrs of service. He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun for his help issuing foreign bonds for the Jpn government #HSBCISFIT #fit2020
