A piece written by me on "First Generation Lawyers" with Bar & Bench and the wrong stereotype which is being re - inforced in law schools.
@ShashiTharoor@ProfCong
Justice Sanjiv Khanna has left behind a legacy which will be tough to be matched by future CJIs. Upright, fearless and an extremely hard working Chief at the helm of the affairs would be severely missed.
On whatever limited number of occasions, I appeared before him, I was always on my toes because I knew Justice Khanna would have definitely read the relevant parts of the file and some tough questions would be coming my way.
A must read article on his tenure.

All the vest best @ShashiTharoor sir. Cant think of a more well read, eloquent and articulate parliamentarian who should be in house of the people of this country.
As voting in Thiruvananthapuram comes to a close, it marks the end of what has been a truly inspired and spirited campaign that stretched across the last 1.5 months. Such a comprehensive effort to reach out to the voters would not have been possible without the invaluable support, initiative and enthusiasm of countless volunteers and workers of @INCKerala and our UDF allies who carried the campaign on their shoulders, ensuring that the message of the campaign reached each and every last voter. This team has worked tirelessly right up till today to consolidate support for the campaign. To all of them, my most heartfelt and grateful thanks for your commitment, your resilience and, above all, your dedication to the campaign despite the challenges and obstacles we faced. You are all, in so many ways, the heart and soul of the campaign and it has been an honour to fight for a prosperous Thiruvananthapuram and an inclusive India alongside you.
Enthusiastic workers of @INCKerala are preparing for the big day tomorrow to ensure victory for our candidate @ShashiTharoor. This is from Vabode,Kallikade in Parassala Assembky segment of Thiruvananthapuram.
INDIA will win!
Under the current Modi government, our country has veered towards communalism, lacking the statesmanship needed for true progress and unity. Vote for @ShashiTharoor , INDIA will win and we will form a government.

We all knew that Justice DY Chandrachud would be one of the better CJIs our country has got in the last few years.
Infact, it can be argued that the incumbent CJI is the best we have had for some time now, atleast, quantitatively if not qualitatively.

When dissections and post mortems are done some will say Rohit was in an unthinking haste. Truth however is, he’s the only one who played the fearless new Indian cricket today. The rest failed to break out of the freeze..
Having watched an India World Cup match for the first time in the 2023 tournament, one request to @BCCI : can DJs at the ground stop chanting and screaming BETWEEN deliveries?? Please play your music/make noise between overs and during drinks breaks or when a milestone is reached but not when a opposition batsman is focusing on the next ball. This is a premier sports competition, don’t reduce it to yet another tamasha. The Mumbai crowd was fantastic and cheered Mitchell too when he scored a super ton. BCCI needs to see this as a global event, not a home franchise match. As a genuine cricket lover, I hope we always put the game first. 🙏👍
"REPLACING THE INDIAN PENAL CODE, 1860 CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE,

Detailed legal commentary documented by Adv Sh Roshan @santhalia Ji, National Legal Coordinator, @ProfCong
Point #5: 'The Inadvertent Exigence and Expediting of the Due-Law Process'
"Fifthly, the impracticability which has guided the drafters is the most concerning in the Bills.
Those who are even remotely aware of how overburdened our courts and state agencies are, would know that adherence to the proposed timelines under the Bills is nearly impossible (eg.,completion of investigation within 60/90/180 days depending upon the offence, framing of charge within 60 days from date of first hearing on charge, judgment within 30 days from the date of completion of arguments, etc.).
Without strengthening the implementation branch of
the criminal justice system, the objectives of the Bills are illusionary."

@British_Airways Me and my wife are travelling from Delhi to Zurich via London on 23.09.2023 through BA. Both me and my wife hold Indian passports. We have a US visa for 10 years on our passport.
Would we require to take transit visa for our journey through London? Thanks.
Today, on behalf of @ProfCong (Legal Department), I presented a note on the recent crim law bills to Vivek Tankha Ji.
Had an hour long discussion on its merits and demerits.
