Kantara Chapter 1 — One Year.

The biggest challenge was to bring this prequel to an audience that had already showered Kantara with immense love. To give a prelude , go deeper into its roots, and tell a story that carries the soul of the land was both a responsibility and a privilege.

It’s been a year since Kantara Chapter 1 came to the big screen, and the love, appreciation, and blessings continue to pour in. ❤️

The satisfaction I saw on the faces of the audience is still fresh in my mind. That moment, that silence, that applause, and the love that followed will always remain special to me.

Four years of ‘Kantara’. ❤️

From the first sketch to the final look, every costume was created with one thought, to stay true to the world of ‘Kantara’.

Every character, every fabric and every little detail had a story behind it. We wanted every look to feel natural, real and rooted in the world of ‘Kantara’.

Four years later, ‘Kantara’ still feels very special.

A film that changed our lives. ❤️

Kantara – A Legend.

Four years since Kantara came to life on the big screen. The rest is history. Awards and appreciation started pouring in from everywhere, but the love you all showered on the film remains unmatched.

It was never just a film I made. It was a world I lived in, a story I carried within me, and a faith that shaped me.

Four years later, the love still feels just as overwhelming.

Forever grateful to everyone who believed in Kantara, celebrated it, and carried it from our soil to the world.

This legend belongs to all of you. ❤️🙏

A truly proud moment for every Tuluva. The recognition of Tulu as Karnataka’s second additional administrative language is a historic step and a beautiful recognition of our language, culture and heritage.

Tulu is one of the ancient languages that has carried our culture, traditions and heritage through generations. This recognition makes the moment even more special.

Heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble CM @CMofKarnataka Shri @DKShivakumar and the Karnataka Government for making this long-standing dream a reality.

A day we will remember with immense pride. 🙏
