विगत कुछ दिनों से बांग्लादेश में सत्ता परिवर्तन के आंदोलन के दौरान हिंदू, बौद्ध तथा वहाँ के अन्य अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों के साथ हो रही हिंसा की घटनाओं पर राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ गंभीर चिंता व्यक्त करता है।

बांग्लादेश में हिंदू तथा अन्य अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के लोगों की लक्षित हत्या, लूटपाट, आगज़नी, महिलाओं के साथ जघन्य अपराध तथा मंदिर जैसे श्रद्धास्थानों पर हमले जैसी क्रूरता असहनीय है, तथा  रा० स्व० संघ इसकी घोर निंदा करता है।

बांग्लादेश की अंतरिम सरकार से अपेक्षा है कि वह तुरंत सख़्ती से ऐसी घटनाओं पर रोक लगाये और पीड़ितों के जान, माल व मान के रक्षा की समुचित व्यवस्था करे।
इस गंभीर समय में विश्व समुदाय तथा भारत के सभी राजनीतिक दलों से भी अनुरोध है कि बांग्लादेश में प्रताड़ना के शिकार बने हिंदू, बौद्ध इत्यादि समुदायों के साथ एकजुट होकर खड़े हों।

बांग्लादेश की परिस्थिति में एक पड़ोसी मित्र देश के नाते सुयोग्य भूमिका निभाने का प्रयास कर रही भारत सरकार से राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ आग्रह करता है कि बांग्लादेश में हिंदू, बौद्ध आदि लोगों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने हेतु हरसंभव प्रयास करे।

वाह! उपराष्ट्रपति महोदय ने भारत सरकार की ओर से संघ के ऊपर जो टिप्पणी की है, वह संसदीय इतिहास में अभूतपूर्व है। बात यह नहीं है कि संघ क्या है, बात यह है कि संघ पर लगे सरकारी दाग के पाप का प्रायश्चित एक सरकारी टिप्पणी से ही किया जा सकता था।
