Update: We had to evacuate from our apartments yesterday. Though there were boats, we did not get space and did not want to wait. Preeti, Mudra & I walked in chest-level water to reach the main road. Thankfully, the car worked & are now in a hotel in the city.

Situation is extremely worse in chennai , much worse than 2015. I don’t see any help to any needy. Many have lost their bikes, livelihood and home.
