Happy to inform that "The Arunachal Pradesh Court Fees Bill, 2023" has been passed by the House on the 2nd day of the ongoing 12th Session of the 7th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh.

With the implementation of the bill, our State will have its own legislation on court fees, as directed by the Ministry of Law & Justice, GoI.

The bill is expected to streamline the court fee structure in our State, leaving no statute left for implementation in various courts of the State and will also generate revenue for the State government.

I thank the members of the House for their unanimous support on the passage of this important bill.

It was indeed an immense honor to be able to celebrate His Holiness the 14th @DalaiLama Ji's 88th birthday at the picturesque Dhargyelling Tibetan Settlement Tindolong in Tezu.

I was joined by His Eminence Ven Dzogchen Ganor Rinpoche, Abbot of Lhagon Jangchup Choeling Monastery, Hon'ble MLAs Shri @karikhokri Ji & Smt. @dasanglu Ji, BJP District President Lohit Shri Badam Tayang ji, DCs & SPs of Lohit & Namsai, other officials and a vibrant community of the camps in celebrating the extraordinary journey of His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama.

Throughout his life, His Holiness has touched the hearts of millions with his profound teachings on compassion, peace and unity. It was a moment of great joy to witness the amalgamation of cultures and the diversity of our region's rich heritage as the Tibetan communities gathered to honor this auspicious day.

The festivities were further highlighted by captivating performances of traditional Tibetan dances by the Cultural Troupes and various camp members, painting the occasion with vibrant colors and transforming the atmosphere into a sheer delight.

With profound grief, bid final adieu to my elder brother and former Minister, Chow Tewa Mein ji today.

He had been my mentor and a guide in every step of my way. With his parting, a void has been created in my life and I will miss him dearly.

May he attains Nirvana!

In order to provide some more time to the taxpayers, the date for linking PAN & Aadhaar has been extended to 30th June, 2023, whereby persons can intimate their Aadhaar to the prescribed authority for PAN-Aadhaar linking without facing repercussions.
