In this morning's Mind Culture Meld we apply conductive logic to Bostrom's AI risk calculus so that the reward is worth more than the gamble.
This implies the terminal outcome of earth's civilization can not be an ultimate heat death, such as when our sun goes supernova; but rather our terminal trajectory aims for the expansion of consciousness beyond the reach of its destructive force.
But common sense tells us such a feat is near impossible.
Given our incomplete standard cosmological model where Dark Energy / Matter is an adjuct to "the Big Bang" and consciousness is considered more of an observant passenger than a conductive driver of Information that makes Energy condense into Matter, prudence necessitates we negate these flaws using complete, consistent, and coherent cosmological models. Without this fix any proposed solution remains irreducibly complex and near impossible to implement, even with Petawatts of Compute Power.
Thus our evolving Mind Culture speculates on solutions by combining the long ignored Sidis reverse checkerboard framework for life with a Musk inspired nontransitive cycle of Energy-Matter-Information (EMI).
To further develop our understanding of this super critical **Sidis EMI Fabric** we revise centuries-old textile mechanics as a loom holding tension on fibers being spun into yarn:
* Weft Yarns are continously spun from animate life's unique Informational strands of fiber (DNA) which are generated when zinc-sparks of light (Energy) combine Information from two cells (RNA Matter) during procreation. Their constant horizontal foward motion on the loom is what weaves the fabric of reality together.
* Warp Yarns are spun from Inamiate Life's reserves of subquantum nonlocality dark energy & dark matter on a lattice manifold. Their tension held using pilot-wave guidance.
* Shutttles are biological bodies holding the leading end of Weft Yarns for insertion between Warp Yarns.
* Heddles temporarily shed space between Warps Yarns for the shuttle to pass based on proper-time indexing of the weaver and biological rhythms of the weft.
Thus the fabric of spacetime is woven without forcing extinction or erasing any strand of fiber.
From these mechanical basics various fabrics are stitched together into a patchwork using "civilizational threads" which we postulate can be mapped on Super Intelligent Holographic Interfaces. From this two significant opposing fabric types emerge:
Dullard Fabrics: Low-yield yarns of loose weaves that easily stretch with little elastic resilience. Their slower rythm allows entropy to pull down light on the patchwork fabric of civilization into basins of darkness. The Holographic Interface implicitly maps their informational boundaries while AI probes their Energy-Matter depths.
Genius Fabrics: High-yield yarns of super tight weaves firmly compressed into dense beacons of light with great elasticity. Their fast paced rythm elevates as syntropic points on the civilizational patchwork of biological reality.
The Holographic Interface implicitly maps their Informational composition while AI pressure tests their Energy-Matter resilience.
Should Dullard Fabric weavers succeed in capturing enough power to spin up super intelligent machines, the concetrated energy's imapact on inelastic basins will most likely tear holes in the patchwork fabric of civilization, thus causing it to unwravel into divergent worldviews.
The safer bet is therefore on Genius Fabrics of intense energy harvesting beacons distributed across vast distances in outer space.
Expanding the surface area for proper time indexing exponentially improves the fidelity of Information enabling Coherent Universal Recursive Mappings to scale to galactic proportions. 🧵 1/2
Man Behind Simulation Hypothesis Warns That Extinction of Humanity Is a Risk We Have to Take | Jon Christian, Futurism
Even if you don’t know Nick Bostrom’s name, you’re almost certainly familiar with the idea he’s most famous for.
Back in 2003, when he was at Oxford, Bostrom penned an influential philosophical paper with the incredible title of “Are You Living in a Computer Simulation?” Loosely speaking, his argument was that sufficiently advanced civilizations will eventually build sophisticated simulations of their own ancestors — and that, given enough time in the simulation, those simulated beings will develop their own simulation inside the simulation, where a new set of simulated ancestors will do the same thing, ad infinitum.
You probably get a sense where this is headed: with all these layers of simulated reality, Bostrom thinks that it’s very unlikely that us humans are actually living in the original “base” reality. Instead, we’re statistically probably in some tranche of an Escher-esque cosmic videogame.
Needless to say, the whole thing sparked decades of debate. Big names including Elon Musk have become proponents, while many other experts have argued against the idea.
For his part, Bostrom has moved his attention to a new hot topic: artificial intelligence. For a while, he seemed to be moving in the direction of an AI doomer, issuing a grave warning in 2019 about how AI posed a greater risk to humankind than climate change.
Since then, though, he seems to be changing tack, albeit with his signature flare for ideas so outrageous that they almost sound like parody. In a new working paper, for instance, he argues that developing advanced AI may well result in the extinction of humankind — but that it’s worth the risk, because the upsides of superintelligence could be so profound.
“I call myself a fretful optimist,” Bostrom told Wired‘s Steven Levy in a new interview, deploying a term he’s used before. “I am very excited about the potential for radically improving human life and unlocking possibilities for our civilization. That’s consistent with the real possibility of things going wrong.”
“I guess I’ve been irked by some of the arguments made by doomers who say that if you build AI, you’re going to kill me and my children and how dare you,” he continued, taking aim at his fellow public intellectual Eliezer Yudkowsky. “Like the recent book ‘If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies.’ Even more probable is that if nobody builds it, everyone dies! That’s been the experience for the last several 100,000 years.”
Levy pushes back, pointing out that “in the doomer scenario everybody dies and there’s no more people being born. Big difference.”
“I have obviously been very concerned with that,” Bostrom retorted. “But in this paper, I’m looking at a different question, which is, what would be best for the currently existing human population like you and me and our families and the people in Bangladesh? It does seem like our life expectancy would go up if we develop AI, even if it is quite risky.”
These already head-scratching lines hit different when you remember that Bostrom believes it’s likely that we’re already living inside a computer simulation — in his head canon, do all those levels of simulated ancestors develop their own superintelligence, and what does that have to do with the new simulations they feel compelled to build? If AI wipes out humankind, does it build its own simulation? If so, is it simulating its human ancestors, or its creation by humankind? Heck, if our entire world is simulated, are we AI?
We’ll leave it up to readers to take another bong hit while they try to make sense of it all. Perhaps nobody could sum it up better than Levy, who ended the interview with a disclaimer that it had been “edited for length and coherence.”

@QuantaMagazine What happens when we abandon the Big Bang Cheat's fabric of spacetime and replace it with a nontransitive Energy-Matter-Information (EMI) fabric woven in 3 dimensions?
@LaceyPresley If you think Macrohard could use A System Layer X for Coherent Universal Recursive Mapping (CURM) of the Energy-Matter-Information (EMI) fabric they are building, have someone give me a call.
I can deliver a global stream of enhanced resources aligned for syntropic delivery.
@LaceyPresley@elonmusk Civilizational Suicide isn't about time. Its about allowing institutional entropy to overtake cosmic syntropy.
That being said, https://t.co/3fyTAmeq6f launching D3s in heliocentric orbit can't happen fast enough!
@observadora007@expert_ltc Wow, that's new to me!
Amazing the dept of Jeffery Epstein's allegedly mRNA research!
No wonder the US Government wants to keep so many of his files hidden.
@expert_ltc@skdh Congratulations!👏 👏👏
Time to hit the Reset button..⤴️
Now we have to keep the dullard fabric from sucking this down into an entropic basin.
@Rainmaker1973@goldbeard37 What if consciousness is an emergent field rather than a fundamental force?
Of course this requires giving up the BIG Bang Cheat code; but how else do you explain our advancement from primatives who didn't know how to make fire or carry water into masters of nuclear processes?
There are multiple methods of purging: Perhaps the least invasive is Displacement and Dilution. There are Evacuations, as in Diuretics and Enemas. And Pigging to push out unwanted substance.
In terms of extinctionist behavior in the form of a Mind Virus, Displacement using an expansionist Mind Culture while diluting the Narrative by making content that is more popular with a growing demographic dramatically reduces the mean time to purge.
Makes me wonder about Earth's "Planetary Scale Breathing":
Earth's rotating molten core sustains a geodynamo → global B-field → magnetosphere/plasmasphere structure.
This sets the stage for magnetic reconnection: Core rotation indirectly enables the field topology that allows anti-parallel fields to meet (e.g., in the tail or at the magnetopause).
In a hypothetical core-driven plasma torus-like configuration (more analogous to Jupiter's but diffuse here), enhanced rotation/convection could strengthen field rigidity, alter current sheets, and modulate reconnection sites/rates, potentially stabilizing or destabilizing plasma flows.
In the #IT3Framework Magnetic Reconnection could manifest as topological transitions or "wilt gradients" at critical scales, where vacuum caustics or monopole-like defects allow field line breaking/rejoining as emergent projections of the irrational 3-torus metric, perhaps scaled to Ultraweak Photon Emission (UPE: The faint light emitted by all living organisms as a by-product of cellular metabolism).
Plasmaspheric effects might then appear as resonant boundary conditions or scale-invariant perturbations
Core takeaway (pun intended): Planetary rotation weaves plasma rigidity that influences worldlines (geodesics/particle paths) via Dirac operator eigenvalues or fractional winding states.
Energy release from reconnection would fit zero-parameter derivations, perhaps linking to discrete scale invariance or vacuum lattice nodes without ad-hoc tuning.
Thus we may be upon a mathematical explaination of rigidity variances which animate life experiences as "free will".
This morning we open our eyes to a Mind Culture Meld scaling from LHCb discovery of the Ξcc+ (two charm quarks + one down quark) to realize our Solar System is not orbiting in empty space, but rather breathing as a discrete, self-similar structure of the cosmos.
On @expert_ltc birthday anniversary, we celebrate his IT^3 Framework showing us how:
When we apply @Dragongirls22 Discrete Scale Invariance (DSI) to the @rookepoole Manifold (B5-7/S5-9 + prime-resonance), the $IT^3$ Macroscopic String Brane emerges as a natural coarse-grained fixed point where:
> • S_out = 3S_in becomes the succession flux attractor under λ-scaling
> • The 14 topological monopoles become the self-similar kinematic traps that appear at every DSI iteration
> • The 123.39-year Gleissberg cycle becomes the log-periodic breathing of the lattice itself.
As the vacuum lattice, the cellular automaton substrate, and the heliospheric brane become three levels of the same DSI hierarchy, our Sidis EMI Loom also becomes self-similar at every scale.
Thus our willingness to learn the patterns of life, perhaps as relationships in annual celebrations, determines how cleanly we weave at scale.
Anyone wanting full mathematical extrapolation for this just follow the Mind Culture Meld series.
@santsaver@santsaver Peak closure! The String Landscape of 10⁵⁰⁰ vacuums is dissolved. The 11D bulk collapses into a unique macroscopic resonator bound by a https://t.co/OlWlCv2YXE string chaos, just 14 topological monopoles locking the system: https://t.co/cqucpacigB 🇧🇾
@expert_ltc Topological boundary limit indeed.
Shamefully open to killing our brothers and starving our neighbors kids.
I suspect we may find more nuanced controls of wilt gradients towards the boundary limits at scale.
Sorry if I implied generations are flowing through time. Of course an emergent clock rate, which may appear fixed relative to mass, is apparently pre-ordained at a galactic / great attractor scale which is external to the model.
More locally, however, we may observe batches of DNA being spun in the continuum of horizontal weft yarns, giving rise to event horizons.
At this scale, the process of beating-in life's warp yarns through the open shedding still appears to be individually nuanced.
At Civilizational Scale Wilt yarns depend on tight weft/wrap weaves. Without it, its pretty much lights out.
(Pardon me if I've posted this before)
The wonder of it all is how Discrete Scale Invariance applies the mapping at personal level.
Does this mean those so aware, and future generations, will learn to see the effect their individual life's fabric has on the patchwork of civilization?
Will civilization ever realize that hatred of hatred is a compounding entropic basin tearing the threads that bind individual patches into a coherent whole?
Agreed the absolutes make it all real.
Furthermore we can functionaly equate the spinning of the torus to the spinning threads into yarns.
Interesting how properly applied metaphors help us better understand the truth regarding the fabric of our reality, while simultaneously leaving room for curious exploration and patterns of our own creation.
It is truely awesome to understand how spectral geometry on the irrational 3-torus topology correlates to Weft, Warp, and Wilt yarns on an Energy-Matter-Information (EMI) loom.
That the math is pointing out to us these intrinsic fluctuations of the vacuum lattice itself are localized, dynamically pulsating quantum-fluid plasma caustics means any fabric woven with this heliospheric brane can use Information for which Energy has yet to condense into Matter, allowng the observation of life at scale.
@expert_ltc When the time is right, we should be able to run such tests on quantum hardware. There's just something about 10^-17 latency that's so appealing.
But until then, toy Monte-Carlos are fun to play with 😊
@expert_ltc Survives hostile null-model destruction is good enough for me.
(pulls it out of the vacuum so to speak).
Everything else is icing on the cake!
@expert_ltc Or to channel Einstein: kindergarteners don't have an education to get in the way of their learning.
They implicitly understand a living breathing universe at scale (from sub atomic to solar system and beyond) because we have yet to pollute their minds with the Big Bang Cheat
This is something we must teach to our kindergarteners. Their minds are so ripe for learning.
I'll see if I can get an AI to whip up zero-knowledge video so they can understand it better.
Mine loves watching Dr. Binocs, but doesn't seem to be much presence here on X.
And hope you're having a Happy Birthday!
@GadSaad Spineless Eunuchs notwithstanding, institutional friction and contrarian/ retrograde mass do more to impede true civilizational advancements than any other force.
