Busy week for Minister @sikorskiradek. He claims they have proof that @FM_Szijjarto collaborated with the Russians. The evidence? Szijjártó acted like a teenager in front of Lavrov. OK! He also tried to shame Elon Musk for no longer participating in his war efforts. OK!
It must be tough to be Poland’s foreign minister this week!
@sikorskiradek@FM_Szijjarto@donaldtusk Dear Polish people, I love you with all my heart. You have a stereotype of being STUPID, but it’s not true. This may spread due to individuals like @sikorskiradek and @donaldtusk. Single them out! This is a shame.
🇺🇦🇵🇱 Thousands of Ukranians fleeing into Poland.
Many waiting over 40 hours to cross the border. A mass exodus is occuring in Kiev, as people flee west in fear of a difficult winter.
In June, Zelensky declared a 40-day operation on Russia, it's day 114, everything backfired.
🚨HUGE: SLOVAKIA’S PRIME MINISTER ROBERT FICO TELLS SERBIA WE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN ON KOSOVO — “WE WILL NOT BE INFLUENCED BY PRESSURE”
Slovakia is a Slavic EU and NATO state. Serbia is a Slavic country in the Balkans that does not recognize Kosovo’s independence. In Belgrade, Prime Minister Robert Fico said Slovakia will continue to respect the territorial integrity of Serbia. On Kosovo and Metohija he said we will never let you down. He said Aleksandar and Serbia will always have a sincere friend in Slovakia, one who will not be influenced by pressure.
The remarks are on the video, with Serbian banners and a crowd behind him.
Who is the pressure for — a Slavic government that still stands with Serbia, or the line that says every EU state must recognize Kosovo?
Before the elections, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was fantasizing about Ukrainian soldiers going to the home address of Viktor Orbán, Hungary’s five-time elected Prime Minister, to persuade him to change his position on Ukraine.
Several Hungarian opposition politicians have appeared on Ukrainian “kill lists.” Even a Hungarian national football player was included.
Viktor Orbán is Péter Magyar’s political opponent in Hungary.
Péter Magyar has invited Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Hungary’s October 23 national commemoration.
What conclusions should we draw from this?
@PM_ViktorOrban And because It's good to see the faces of the liberal elites! They accused Hungary of supporting violence while it was advocating for peace front the beginning. Framing someone as a bad guy just for siding with peace is evil. But this era is officially over.
A journalist was banned from Meta simply for mentioning László Toroczkai, leader of Hungary’s third-largest party. The case shows alternative parties can’t rely on mainstream platforms. They should use them to drive offline events and build topics their audiences care about.
A Poet Who Went to Stop the Bloodshed: The Tragic Mission of Zygmunt Rumel
In July 1943, as violence against Poles in Volhynia escalated, the Polish Underground State sent a young poet to seek dialogue with representatives of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA).
Zygmunt Rumel (1915–1943), poet, publicist, social activist, and commander of the VIII Volhynian District of the Peasant Battalions, knew Volhynia deeply and believed in its shared heritage.
On his mission to Kustycze, he travelled unarmed with Lt. Ryszard Markiewicz and Witold Dobrowolski. They never returned. Rumel was tortured and murdered by UPA members.
His death, on 10 July 1943, came on the eve of “Bloody Sunday” - the peak of mass attacks against Polish civilians in Volhynia.
Zygmunt Rumel remains a symbol of the tragedy of Volhynia: a man who entered a land of hatred carrying a message of dialogue.
Magyar Péter meglehetősen sokat beszélt önmagáról, illetve a magyar belpolitikáról a mai berlini találkozón, láthatóan Friedrich Merz kancellár is furán nézelődött néha.
