आज पहाटे तासवडे टोल नाक्यावर अत्यंत घाणेरडा आणि त्रासदायक अनुभव आला. इथले वाहतूक व साधे दोन्हीही पोलीस कर्मचारी आपापल्या ‘खाऊडी’ गोळा करण्याच्या कामात इतके व्यस्त असतात की त्यांना मूळ नेमून दिलेलं वाहतूक व्यवस्थापनाचं काम पूर्णपणे रामभरोसे असतं.

कराडहून पुण्याकडे येताना टोलनाका पार केल्यानंतर लगेच डाव्या बाजूला ट्रॅव्हल्स आणि खाजगी वाहने इतक्या मोठ्या प्रमाणावर उभी असतात की ३-४ समांतर लाईन्स तयार होतात. त्यामुळे टोल पार केल्यावरच वाहनांची प्रचंड गर्दी निर्माण होते.

ही गर्दी रोखणं हे त्यांच्या कर्तव्याचा भाग असताना, ते मात्र वाहनं अडवून ‘वैयक्तिक’ पावत्या फाडण्यात गुंतलेले असतात. परिणामी, गाड्या शब्दशः एकमेकांना घासून पुढे सरकतात, आणि कुठल्याही प्रकारचं वाहतूक नियंत्रण तिथे दिसत नाही.

याच गोंधळात आज आमच्या गाडीला एक ट्रक घासली गेली. त्यानंतरही पोलिसांनी परिस्थिती हाताळण्याऐवजी आमच्यातच ‘गिर्‍हाईक’ शोधण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. दोन तासानंतर शेवटी वैतागून आम्हाला तिथून काढता पाय घ्यावा लागला.

या सगळ्या अनुभवामुळे एक गोष्ट प्रकर्षाने जाणवली ती म्हणजे आपल्याकडील पोलीस दलाची प्रतिमा सुधारणं अत्यंत कठीण आणि अशक्य गोष्ट बनलेली आहे.

India may suffer for some time but Indian tech giants will look beyond USA and can think for implementing own tech

@MahindraRise @anandmahindra Again very bad service experience frm PPS Mahindra Pune. Gave my Scorpio N fr second servicing yesterday 10am. They couldn’t finish the servicing on time, no proper feedback. Still waiting for my car..no wheel alignment, no washing cleaning #mahindra
