paradigm shifts are hard. they also create huge opportunities for early adopters.

tl;dr
@SuiNetwork and @ikadotxyz create a new design space that will dominate web3 in the next 5 years, and visionary builders who understand this early will be web3's next big players

many founders and investors can quote peter thiel's zero to one and go on about how true value only comes from innovation, not expanding or improving existing things. they will almost always do exactly the opposite.

it’s just hard for people to recognize innovation, and even harder to evaluate it, the easiest and "safest" path is just assuming tomorrow will look exactly like yesterday.

but we can probably all agree that:
1. the design space for builders in 2024 is mostly evm and bridges
2. the size of web3 in 2024 is a tiny fraction of what web3 will actually be in a few years

this means that if you're building based on what is true in 2024, you are not going to be relevant in 2030.

there are so many reasons why sui + ika will dominate web3 in 2030, but here are 2 of the major ones:

1. where top devs will build
only about 1 in every 1,000 developers in the world is currently in web3. what really matters though is never the total number of developers, it’s the top 0.1% of developers. and theres even a lower presence of the top 0.1% of the world's devs in web3 today. that will change in the next few years.
safe to say any decent web3 dev already knows that move, and specifically move on sui, is far superior in design and security than solidity, and is the current state of the art in web3. that will be even more obvious to the top 0.1% of devs as they explore web3. add to that the vastly superior performance and sui becomes a no-brainer option for new (and especially top 0.1%) devs joining web3.
these top devs will build the next generation of web3 that will capture most of the value in 2030

2. the new design space for web3
with ika, developers have a completely new design space that matches the flexibility, user experience and security required for the next generation of institutional and retail use cases.
everything in web3 right now is more or less a proof of concept, there's very little real economic value that has transferred from the real world, and this new design space is required for web3 to move past the poc phase and into the real world value phase.

what's next

i spent every day over the 15 days leading up to 2025 detailing 15 completely new use cases this design space opens up, you can browse through the chain of quotes to see them all. there are probably dozens , if not hundreds, more.

each of these use cases can easily be a $billion+ project, and as of today cannot be built anywhere else.

you are used to projects shilling their solution as being faster or cooler, so i'll say this one more time - just like the builders oh uniswap couldn't use bitcoin and needed ethereum - you CANNOT build these use cases anywhere else other than on @SuiNetwork using @ikadotxyz. it is impossible, and anyone claiming otherwise is lying.

we are going to make big announcements soon, testnet is live for you to build, and our dms are open for advice, if you’re quick you might be able to go live on day 1.

jumping on the sui + ika bandwagon is something you’ll do sooner or later. sooner is better.
