There were more than 2, 600 new COVID-19 cases reported over the last 7 days.
It continues a steady increase we’ve been seeing since earlier this summer with the number of new cases reported each week, increasing by several hundred.

It’s the 7th week in a row the weekly number has increased. The week before it was 1,612 and before that it was 1,227
San Antonio/Bexar County’s COVID-19 cases increased again this week

The 7-day average has gone from 50 new cases per day in late June to 230 per day last week
Bexar County/San Antonio added 1,227 new reported COVID-19 cases over the last week (8/1 -8/7) in data published today.
According to San Antonio Metro Health data, the number of new weekly reported cases has been steadily increasing by ~200-300 since mid-July.
