Agreed, great article! Sometimes we forget that it can become very expensive over time running in IaaS with OPEX. Savings of ~$400Mil over 3 years running on premise is amazing!

Now, E1080 systems, capable of configurations up to 64 TB memory, can have larger ScaleUp SAP HANA LPARs/instances up to 40 TB for OLAP M&S class workload, for OLTP the limit remains currently at 32TB - Update in SAP Note 2188482 soon expected

@PetraBuehrer @IBM @IBMservers Loving it! ~955K SAPS is nothing to sneeze at. That’s almost 8000 SAPS per core. I remember sizing 8000 SAPS across 4 Intel cores to get the same horsepower. Now that’s Power! Excuse the pun…
