Any form of armed conflict in Burkina Faso is unacceptable. I have already called on all parties to end the violence and commit to lasting peace. Once again, I have written to the concerned parties, proposing peace and encouraging dialogue and reconciliation.

The Iran-U.S. conflict cannot produce a true winner. Continued confrontation only brings greater loss and instability for all sides. The only sustainable path forward is dialogue, diplomacy, and peace.
