OPERATION BLACK PANTHERS
This weekend we have been helping the police with another horiffic rescue.
I spent over an hour trying to assessthe cats in the back of a police van " cage"
Despise lack of resources and space we were faced with no other option than to help .
They had rung every out of hours vet in West Yorkshire and not one could offer a solution.
We were contacted late yesterday by police officers who had been to an incident in leeds, arrested severali individuals, were in a volatile situation. Every window in the property was smashed, the windows were boarded and local residents were threatening to burn the property down.
On searching the property for the initial incident, the police discovered 13 black and black and white young cats living in appalling conditions in the property.
All cats have evidence of severe abuse and neglect.. they all have medical issues and concerns, some worse than others, and they are all receiving emergency veterinary care.
Thankfully they are all very hungry and eating well.
Roastie, Mash, Jersey, Turnip, Julienne, Cauli, Butternut, Little Leek, Mushy, Mangetout, Sugarsnap and Tinna are all now safe however are lin less than adequate accommodation.
If any one has a spare room, transport and could foster for us for a few weeks please email [email protected]

Ella is an 8 year old female Tabby cat. She is looking for a new home. Sadly her previous home offer fell through.
Ella would be best in a quiet home with no other pets or children as she appears to get stressed and will have an accident outside her litter box.
She would be suited to someone who is on their own with a calm quiet home to allow her to relax.
Ella is registered at the vets and has been seen recently. She is healthy and active.
Ella is chipped and spayed.
She eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on her own if you need to go out.
Ella will venture outside but won't go as far away as the garden.
She likes to sleep in a cave she made herself in the wardrobe at night or on top of the drawers where there are clothes for her to keep cosy.
She is up to date with her vaccinations and very affectionate. She isn't keen being picked up but will be happy to sit next to you on the sofa or bed.
For more information or to offer Ella a new home please email [email protected]

Someone please explain to JARED KUSHNER that WARS are not BUSINESS DEALS or REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS
And that Putin and Russia illegally INVADED Ukraine
And then bombed, slaughtered, raped and kidnapped the innocent men, women and children of that proud and brave country.
They hanged him at dawn.💔
The Islamic Republic executed rapper Erfan Mirzaei on Sunday, September 6, at the morning adhan, in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan. No warning. No last call to his family. The rope and the silence.
He was a young rapper. His crime was standing against a regime that kills to survive. He sang of freedom and hope in a country where a song can cost your life. Those who knew him remember a young man full of fire, art, and big dreams. The regime stole all of it in a single dawn, while the world slept.
He was arrested during the January protests and executed in secret, while the Islamic Republic continues slaughtering January protesters in Iran's prisons under a total news blackout.
His funeral is today, Say his name. Do not let the gallows have the last word.
Hi I'm Hugo, I am 3 in October, I'm a mixed breed. I'm looking for a new forever, loving home.
Unfortunately due to changing job's, the owner is no longer able to work from home.
This has impacted on Hugo, who is on his own for longer periods of time.
This has been an incredibly hard and difficult decision for Hugo's owners to make.
His new home needs to be with someone who can give him plenty of time, attention, exercise and love, is their priority.
Hugo is registered with the vet, he is fit & healthy, no medical problems, he is micro chipped, he last saw the vet in June, when he was neutered, which he recovered from well.
Hugo is good with children, he currently lives with a 7 & 12 year old, he has been around young children since babies with no issues.
He has always been gentle around children.
He will bark at strangers coming to the house, he settles quickly but tends to keep his distance from people he doesn't know, until he's comfortable with them.
He is the most loyal, lovely dog once he gets to know people.
He has lived with a female dog but with strange dogs he needs a bit of space as he can be reactive.
He can be whiney passing other dogs, if the other dog reacts to him or he gets too close he can react back with barking.
This is something the owner previously worked on with a trainer 1-2-1 sessions and some group sessions/walks he did well so owner thinks he could overcome this with more training.
Hugo is fully house trained, even when left alone. He can be left for 4-5 hours at a time he will go in his crate or the living room on the couch.
He would chase cats given the chance, he has only ever seen cats when on walks.
He is currently walked on Flexi lead or long line, he is very responsive to his name also the "HERE" command but he hasn't had time off the lead, as owner not sure how he would be with strange dogs.
He is strong, he will pull at first on the lead, will settle down.
Hugo sleeps in his crate at night, occasionally has slept on the couch. He is good in the car, he travels in the boot with a dog guard.
Hugo eats a mix of dry and wet food (Pooch and Mutt kibble with a mix of wet food or toppers) he isn't fussy when it comes to food, it is the way to his heart.
Never had any issues with his tummy. He also has a variety of natural treats and chews.
There isn't anything he won't do for food which is handy for training, making friends.
Hugo loves chasing a ball or destroying soft toys, he will also play tug.
He can plays well, but he also loves laying in the sun.
Hugo would make a loyal, loving companion for someone with the time and patience he deserves. If Hugo is the dog for you, Email [email protected] for more information.

😺MEET CHEDDAR WHO IS LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL RETIREMENT HOME😺
🐈Meet Cheddar, a lovely older gentleman who arrived at Greenacres as a stray
🐈Unfortunately, that means we don't know exactly how old he is or what his life looked like before he came into our care. What we do know is that he's a sweet, gentle old boy who deserves to spend his twilight years somewhere warm, safe & loved
🐈The sad reality is that cats like Cheddar are so often overlooked. People naturally gravitate towards the kittens & younger cats, while the oldies wait
🐈There is something incredibly special about giving an older rescue animal the retirement they deserve
🐈We don't know whether Cheddar has months or years ahead of him but we do know that however much time he has, it matters
🐈Cheddar isn't asking for much. A quiet home, a comfy bed, good food & someone who will appreciate the gentle companionship that comes with sharing your home with an older cat
❗️We do, however, need to be very clear about what adopting Cheddar means❗️
🐈Cheddar is an old cat. We don't want anyone applying for him without really thinking about that first
🐈He may sleep more, slow down, become a little less tidy or predictable in his habits & as he gets older his health needs are likely to increase
🐈There may be additional veterinary visits, medication or age-related conditions in his future. These aren't unexpected problems or something to be frustrated by – they are part of choosing to give an elderly animal a home
❗️If you're looking for a cat with potentially many, many years ahead of them, then Cheddar probably isn't the right choice & we'd encourage you to consider one of our younger cats instead❗️
🏡For the right person, adopting Cheddar won't be about how long you get with him. It will be about making sure that the next chapter of his life – however long that chapter may be – is comfortable, peaceful & filled with love
🏡So we're looking for someone who understands what they're taking on from day one. Someone who won't mind that he's an old man doing old-man-cat things. Someone who will adapt with him as his needs change & when the difficult days eventually come, will be there for him just as wholeheartedly as they were at the beginning
🏡If you think you could be **Cheddar's person** & offer this lovely old gentleman the quiet, committed home we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you
🏡If you think you can offer Cheddar the right home, please complete the application form by following the link below👇

📝FYI: Applications are processed Monday to Thursday. Please be patient, our Rehoming Team will be in contact with you as soon as possible📝
🏡🏥All successful applications are subject to home & Vet checks🏥🏡
📍Our animals are based in #Pembrokeshire South West #Wales While we do rehome across the UK, please keep our location in mind because visits to the centre are essential. We may also prioritise homes that are closer to the rescue

URGENT APPEAL - PLEASE Share
Can anyone help this beautiful boy and give him a much needed loving home.
Roughly 4-5 years old.
So far 2026 has been an awful year for this "poor wee soul" could someone turn it around for him.
He was named MAGGIE by a wee boy, who was feeding him on the streets. He is a stray cat who was sadly abandoned by his owner back in April.
We are assisting a cat rescue who became aware of Maggie following a member of the public contacting them.
Maggie is now off the streets, however this is only temporary, for a few days.
Even though he has only been in temporary care for three days he has adapted well, to a safe, warm, caring environment.
He is very timid and nervous, but once he is able to trust people around him he is very loving and a friendly cat, just looking for love and reassurance. He appears fit, healthy and happy, needs flea and worming treatments, not micro chipped.
He is eating Felix cat food & dry biscuits, however Maggie will eat anything.
No other pets, a quiet home is best.
We have set up a fund for Maggie to get him neutered, vaccinated, chipped and his flea and worm treatment for the next 12 months, which will be passed to any new owner.
This will also help us to find Maggie a new home.
If you would like to contribute you can do so via our donate link here https://t.co/smZqjct3Jl
Any funds left over will be split between Help2Rehome and Cat Rescue.
If you can give this handsome boy what he deserves somewhere to feel safe, loved and well looked after. Email [email protected]
WHEN WILL THIS BARBARISM END???
This was posted a couple of days ago - one woman’s experience at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch Worcs - but it could have been anywhere in the country. It is 2026 and this is considered acceptable healthcare for women

Wensleydale Update
Little Wensleydale is an absolute milk monster despite what a difficult day she has had.
Piecing all the information together it would seem that she has had a double trauma.
We believe that she has been thrown out of a bedroom window by a child fallen around 7 ft and then fallen from there another 6 - 7 ft.
Little Wensleydale is only 2-3 weeks old and the " righting refkex" doesn't fully develop until kittens are around 7-9 weeks old.
Unfortunately Wensleydale has fallen full force on her front paws resulting in fractures to both front limbs.
The bones were very displaced on the xrays and the amazing team at Northcote Veterinary Surgery have managed to splint both limbs under sedation.
This incident has been fully reported to the RSPCA.
Today's vet trip for Wensleydale has cost over £1000 and the splints will need replacing twice a week, and likely weekly xrays for the next weeks.
Could you help Wensleydale walk again.???
* The easiest way to donate is via PayPal using [email protected] as the recipient. please select the friends and family option so we are not charged a fee.
