I am not against meter installation, but the way it was done is unacceptable. PDD left an active power line hanging in my lawn where my kids play, entered my property without notice, climbed the fence like trespassers, and damaged my property. This is unsafe and unlawful.
@IFBAppliances Absolutely shameful experience with IFB. I purchased an IFB AC in August 2024 and it has had multiple complaints since installation. After months of follow-ups, IFB is now refusing support by claiming the AC was purchased from an unauthorized dealer.
This kind of behavior towards a paying customer is unacceptable and deeply unprofessional.
This clearly amounts to deficiency in service and harassment of a consumer. If IFB does not resolve this issue immediately and provide proper service support,

@airtelindia@Airtel_Presence Your WiFi service is an absolute joke. It’s been down for one week and customer support is either clueless or just doesn’t care. Why are we even paying for this garbage service? Fix it. Now. #Airtel#WorstServiceEver
Four top leaders of the banned "Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir", including its head Dr Fayaz Hamid, who have been recently released from jail, according to reports, have indicated changes in the organisation's constitution and participation in the Union Territory's first Assembly elections. It has been reported that the JEI, which remained Kashmir's most authentic pro-Pakistan and anti-India voice for 35 years of the separatist insurgency, would either contest the elections directly or support any party other than Farooq Abdullah's National Conference (NC), Mehbooba Mufti's Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Altaf Bukhari's Apni Party (AP) and Sajad Lone's Peoples Conference (PC).
If these reports are correct, it appears that the stage is being set for revoking the ban on the JEI and facilitating the party's participation in the Assembly elections somewhat on the pattern of the recent Lok Sabha elections in North Kashmir where the jailed independent candidate Engineer Rashid emerged as the sole beneficiary of the "sentiment vote" and defeated the candidates of NC, PC and PDP. Before the outbreak of militancy in 1989, JEI contested the Lok Sabha elections from 1967 to 1984 but lost all. It also participated in the Assembly elections of 1972 and won 5 seats in Kashmir. In 1977, it won the one-odd seat of Sopore (Syed Ali Shah Geelani). In 1983, it failed to win a single seat. It contested the last Assembly elections in 1987 under the umbrella of the Muslim United Front (MUF). Of the 4 MUF winners, Syed Ali Shah Geelani (Sopore), Abdul Razaq Mir (Kulgam) and Ghulam Nabi Sumji (Homeshalibugh) came from JEI. All four resigned in 1989. Thereafter an armed insurgency broke out in which the JEI disputed J&K's accession to India, supported the armed struggle and remained the most powerful organisation as two of its leaders, namely SAS Geelani and Mohammad Yousuf Shah aka Syed Salahuddin, retained the movement's political and guerrilla control respectively. It spearheaded anti-election campaigns and didn't participate in any elections from 1988 to 2024. The organisation was banned after the killing of 40 CRPF men in a fidayeen attack as most of its leaders were arrested and many of its properties and bank accounts were seized under UAPA by the BJP government.
