New teachers were challenged to try the 2x10 Strategy! Taking 2 minutes, 10 days in a row, to have a conversation with a student. Taking this time to intentionally build a relationship and get to know them personally. #cmcssinduction

New Teachers were able to apply their learning on writing and teaching clear targets during this new teacher meeting. Mentors supplied content specific standards for each of their teachers to deconstruct and write in kid-friendly terms using @nearpod #cmcssinduction

This morning mentors and new teachers were using @nearpod to dig deeper into what it looks like to start a lesson! My favorite was seeing video clips from teachers using @goswivl and then sharing ideas on how they’ll use this learning their classrooms! #cmcssinduction

What does it look like to introduce a clear target to your students? Start by making connections and explaining the vocabulary in your target... Here is a great example that a teacher shared during a New Teacher meeting from a middle school math class. #cmcssinduction

What a great idea! Today at an Induction Seminar, mentors helped prepare their new teachers for parent teacher conferences by sharing different responses to possible scenarios through @nearpod #cmcssinduction
