As I sit here waiting for a zoom meeting to happen that likely won’t, that I had a suspicion wouldn’t, I’m reminded that so many meetings, even virtual ones, could have been an email.
@JustinTrudeau Hospitals are places for treatment and care, not bombing, sniping, and murdering. And again, it is not anti-Semitic to protest against genocide, no matter where that protest happens. Stop using the claim of antisemitism to silence necessary protest.
@BenCarrwpg Too late, your damage is done. The organizers are being targeted, students don’t feel safe. The speaker suggesting that Israel had a hand in killing some of its own on Oct 7 is information that’s been shared by many outlets.
@jkreindler@BenCarrwpg Bombing, snipers, no water, cutting off telecommunications, cutting off food, creating hostile and unlivable conditions. All of those constitute genocide, and all of those have been perpetrated by Israel on Palestine.
@alybrickey I’ve pretty much deserted Twitter, but I did come back to comment on his account saying what a disservice he’s doing. What you folks are doing is important, and it matters.
@jkreindler@BenCarrwpg Indiscriminate bombing, using dehumanizing language, and outright calling for the death of Palestinians, as Netanyahu and his cabinet members have done, constitutes genocide.
@jkreindler@BenCarrwpg Multiple, credible sources state that it is impossible for people to leave in any of the “safe” corridors or evacuation routes. IDF soldiers have shot people leaving in the safe corridors.
@BenCarrwpg Discussing genocide from a perspective other than Israeli/Jewish is providing balanced education. There have been multiple outlets that have provided fulsome information on the Oct 7 attacks and just because they don’t align with your narrative doesn’t make it anti-Semitic. 2/2
@BenCarrwpg It’s really disappointing that you equate any discourse regarding this ongoing genocide to Holocaust denialism or anti-semitism. The Israeli perspective is consistently front and center in mainstream media so events like these are vital to balance the narrative. 1/2
@MisterLorde I turned out of Sun Wah on King the wrong way and immediately was like “oh wait, oh no, I’ve done it!” and bee-lined through a parking lot to get onto Logan, but I was out of sorts for the rest of my trip.
