Bengaluru Metro is suffering from neglect and needs urgent intervention from the State Govt.

1. No full time MD from last 7 months.
2. 90% of employees of such a large organisation are temporary, contractual employees.
3. Most senior positions are held by persons who retired from other govt agencies, making it a den of post retirement people.
5. All important lines including Yellow, Pink and Airport are getting delayed.
6. No GM HR position filled from last 7 months.
7. Despite this, State Govt wants to expand Metro unscientifically to Bidadi, Kanakapura without first strengthening the existing line projects.
8. Only way to tackle Bengaluru traffic congestion is by expanding the metro network.
9. Namma Metro needs a leadership overhaul.
10. In the last 7 months, neither CM @siddaramaiah nor DCM @DKShivakumar have conducted a review of Metro projects in the city.
