@PhysEdApps @mskwan_physed Miss Whistle ~ my 1st year teaching was teaching a kinder ELL class - all non English speakers. And I touched my whistle and said “when I blow my whistle, you freeze” and modeled a freeze. Kid thought I was saying my name was Miss Whistle!

2021 MHS HoF weekend! Proud of my dad & all inductees. Great group of athletes, coaches, and loyal Magi - maroon & gold pride in the Carlson fam for so many generations. I’ll be in bed for days now, but glad I was well enough to attend snippets of each event 😅 Thx @MinotHighAD!

By far the hardest “first day” of school for me. Today would be the start of year 20 & I’m 😭 cause I’m not there with my @JimHillMystics family & #physed team. Now on 7 months of recovery. Healing is hard. Physically and emotionally. I can’t wait to be back someday.

My dad was a stud 🏀 player. And he was always my #1 fan - from the time he was my coach in elementary to when I was in college. He helped teach me about adversity & perseverance ~ two things I am all too familiar with right now. Looking forward to seeing him get inducted!
