Watoto Church Wins Court Battle Over Government Heritage Listing of Kampala Property

Watoto Church Ministries has won a High Court battle against government over the heritage listing of its Kampala Road and Buganda Road property. Court quashed the designation after finding illegality, irrationality, and procedural impropriety, potentially clearing a key legal hurdle to Watoto’s redevelopment plans while allowing future lawful heritage protection.
