Last week, @ConfedMatthew and colleagues were hosted at @RoyalPapworth, where they discussed partnership system working, collaboration, innovation and the reach and excellence of the trust’s specialist heart, lung and sleep services across the east of England and the whole UK

Had the brilliant opportunity to go on a member visit to @RoyalPapworth alongside @ConfedMatthew yesterday. A few reflections from my time there 🧵

A highlight from the visit was seeing MORGAN, funded by the Royal Papworth Charity. This machine enables heart transplants in circulatory death patients. Royal Papworth are a world leader in heart transplants and it was cool to see a life-saving piece of kit in the flesh!
