The ballot props support more subsidized, rent-reg housing. Rent freezes in 2015, 2016 & 2020 didn’t stop housing production. Aff housing production went up bc the market wasn’t building it on its own. W/ the recent zoning text amendment & these ballot props, we’ll build more

How can it be a good ex of housing investment when there’s been none & it’s missed 3+ cycles of capital repairs? @Scottie11379 @YesOnAffHousing @abundance_ny I’m a rent stabilized tenant (have been for years) on the LES. I’m a tenant organizer — I work with other rent stab and NYCHA tenants. And I pay too much in rent! Which I why I’m fighting for a rent freeze.
