Today I want to thank our lovely guest speaker @RaoKinder for sharing her teaching experiences. I absolutely loved how her past classrooms were set up for children to be innovators and problem solvers, and having the children do tasks by themselves without hovering. @EY_uwindsor

I took this opportunity to remind the students that we only dial 911 in the case of an emergency. My favourite question was "how do they know to send an ambulance or a fire truck?"

Embracing diversity and multiculturalism through practicing writing numbers in the different languages our classmates can speak. AMAZING idea by Mrs. McLennan at LPS that was sparked by a conversation amongst a group of students.
