My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today marks 51 years since the landmark Roe v. Wade decision. While Dobbs effectively eroded the rights granted in Roe, Ohioans proudly stood up last November to guarantee our rights to privacy and the right to make our own reproductive decisions with our families and doctors.

Ohio revised code — as of 6 MONTHS ago w passage of hb 458— prohibits august elections for this purpose. Our Secretary of State *LOBBIED FOR* 458. SJR2 is a PROPOSAL, not LAW, until it receives a majority vote in an actual election. Our SOS apparently plans to skip that part.
