The Bride being changed from a husband killing axe murderer to a cursed bride is proof that men fear a powerful woman 🪓

Imagineering may just be beyond saving.

[caitlin @WEDenterprise]

so like…. what do we do with this if we don’t have a killer bride

[sarah ⚰️ @sarahellsworth_]

this is one of the things i was afraid of for the future of the haunted mansion—removing the haunted mansions original stories cause newcomers are “sensitive” is a slap in the face to the original imagineers, no matter how the current imagineers try to spin it

[Themountainking @Themountainkin1]

Imagineering (here Kim Irvine) calling Marc Davis’ ideas "weird stories" wasn’t on my bingo card. I’m actually scared of what The Haunted Mansion is gonna become in the upcoming years. It’s getting more and more detached from one of its main themes: horror

[sarah ⚰️ @sarahellsworth_]

you can’t remove the constance with her hatchet as we know her but keep the name and headless portraits..all you’re doing is further blurring the story and confusing fans who have followed the attic scene from the beginning..this is not it imo

New Bride in Haunted Mansion has debuted at Disneyland - what do you think?

[Alicia Stella @AliciaStella]

So wait, if the pictures with the husbands fading away are still there, and they just removed her axe plot line… does that imply she still killed them but by different means… or she just has terribly bad luck and all her husbands died of natural causes?? I’m so confused.

[sarah ⚰️ @sarahellsworth_]

quick question: why call the movie until dawn if the movie is literally NOTHING like the game??

[Bloody Disgusting @BDisgusting]

Full plot synopsis for #UntilDawn:

One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again - only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.

[DiscussingFilm @DiscussingFilm]

A movie adaption of ‘UNTIL DAWN’ is in the works.
