The bells of Willingham Church were ringing yesterday morning to celebrate the bells being 100 years old. In 1924, the church's five existing bells were melted down & recast & a sixth bell was added, & all were hung in a new steel frame #willingham #bellringing

👻 These two ghostly figures are Henry VIII & Charles I, meeting for the first time in the burial vault they share. It is a copy made by Queen Charlotte from a book called ‘A Messenger from the Dead, or, Conference full of Stupendious Horrour’, first published in 1658.
