One of the key questions from yesterday is why it took hours for there to be a response from the U.S. military to an armed invasion of the United States Capitol.
Why spend $700B on the military if they can’t defend the Capitol from attack?
@RepJayapal How is it that only 13 people have been arrested so far? When thousands were arrested during the BLM protests for what I'm sure were far less violent or serious crimes.
@BenjaminPDixon In this new and constantly connected America, it doesn't matter where you live, we all need to support the efforts of those like Stacey Abrams who do the work where the work is most needed. I pledge my $$$ to that cause.
@AuroraMayorMike@APDChiefWilson@AuroraGov So your police department will bring in a mass murderer without a scratch but pepper spray peaceful protestors? Seriously WTF?
Shame on you @Publix. Once again you show how rules are unequally applied in our "system" and how black voices are routinely silenced. Guess I know where not to shop.
@sundarpichai@Google Want proof that your algorithms are biased? This news article about the first person to reach both space and the deepest point on earth (a woman, as it happens) shows a picture of a man beside it on your new page! Shame on you!
@morningmika@jack Better yet.... why don't we just stop using Twitter all together. If this platform doesn't want to take responsibility for the mess they are allowing, then I don't want to be a part of it. I quit. #quittwitter
@realDonaldTrump You are the President of the United States, not a 13 year old who got called out for disrupting class with his antics. It's literally your job to hold these news briefings so your country can function during a crisis. Grow up.
